Flevox 402mg For Dogs

Flevox 402mg spot-on solution for giant dogs between 40 and 60 kg 3 pipette. Treatment of flea and biting/chewing lice infestations in dogs. Flevox serves as a treatment of infestations by fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.) and biting / sucking lice (Trichodectes canis) with Fipronil an active substance

 

Flevox 402 mg Indications:

In dogs: For the treatment of flea (Ctenocephalides spp.) and biting lice (Trichodectes canis) infestations.

Insecticidal activity against new adult flea infestations persists for 8 weeks.

Fleas that subsequently settle are eliminated within 48 hours of application to the animal. The product can be used in the program for the control of Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD) if this has been previously diagnosed by a veterinarian.

The product did not demonstrate an immediate acaricidal effect against ticks but demonstrated persistent acaricidal efficacy for up to 4 weeks against Rhipicephalus sanguineus and Dermacentor reticulatus and up to 3 weeks against Ixodes Ricinus . If ticks of these species are present when the product is applied, not all may be eliminated within the first 48 hours, but may be eliminated within a week.

 

Flevox Contraindications

• Do not use on puppies less than 8 weeks old and/or weighing less than 2 kg, in the absence of available data.
• Do not use on sick (systemic diseases, fever…) or convalescent animals.
• Do not use in rabbits, as adverse drug reactions and even death could occur.
• Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to fipronil or to any of the excipients.
• Do not administer orally.
• This product has been developed specifically for dogs. Do not use on cats as this could lead to overdosing.

 

Flevox Directions For Use: Flevox 402mg dosage

For topical skin application only.

Apply one 4.02 ml pipette for dogs weighing 40 to 60 kg.

For dogs weighing more than 60 kg apply 2 pipettes of 2.68 ml.

The minimum application interval is 4 weeks.

 

Method Of Administering Flevox 402mg

Part the fur on the animal’s shoulder blades until the skin is exposed. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze gradually until the contents are completely emptied onto the skin.

It is important to ensure that the product is applied to an area where the animal cannot lick it off and to ensure that animals do not lick each other after application. Laurabolin 10ml

Avoid getting the animal’s fur too wet as this creates a sticky appearance of the fur at the treatment site. However, if this does happen, it will disappear within 24 hours of application, but may persist for up to 2 weeks.
