NexHA injection from vetoquinol is an injectable hyaluronate sodium approved for the treatment of joint disfunction in horses. This FDA-approved alternative is administered intravenously to tackle non-infectious synovitis from osteoarthritis.

NexHA (hyaluronate sodium) Injectable Solution is FDA approved as bioequivalent to Legend (Hyaluronate Sodium) Injectable Solution at an affordable price.
NexHA is approved for the treatment of joint dysfunction of the carpus or fetlock in horses due to non-infectious synovitis associated with equine osteoarthritis. Crescer 50ml
Active Ingredient
Each mL of NexHA contains 10 mg hyaluronate sodium.
Dosage and Administration
4 mL (40 mg) injected intravenously. Treatment with NexHA may be repeated at weekly intervals for a total of three treatments. NexHA can be used with other joint therapies.

NexHA is available in a 4 mL (40 mg) vial size for intravenous injection.

Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian. For use only in horses. Do not use in horses intended for human consumption.
NexHA (hyaluronate sodium) Injectable Solution 4 mL is approved only for I.V. use.
The safety of NexHA (hyaluronate sodium) Injectable Solution has not been evaluated in breeding stallions or in breeding, pregnant or lactating mares.
Not for use in humans.

Post-Approval Experience: While all adverse reactions are not reported, the following adverse reactions are based on voluntary post-approval reporting for hyaluronate sodium injectable solution: Occasional depression, lethargy and fever.
