What is Betamethasone?

Betametasona Depot 5ml is a steroid that prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation.

Betamethasone is used to treat many different inflammatory conditions such as allergic reactions, ulcerative colitis, arthritis, lupus, multiple sclerosis, inflammation of the joints or tendons, and problems caused by low adrenal gland hormone levels. Arsenocyl 100ml

Betamethasona Depot Routes of application:

Apply via Intramuscular, Intravenous or Intra-articular, according to location of inflammation and indication of veterinarians.

Betamethasona Injection Formula

Betamethasone (as sodium phosphate 21) ……. 200 mg

Betamethasona Dosage And Administration

For intra-articular application: 1 to 2 ml per joint.
For intramuscular or intravenous: 0.5 to 2.5 ml per 100 kg live weight.

Application is suggested every 24 hours and not more than 5 days. If needed prolonged treatment the dose should be decreased gradually after completion of the same.
The suggested dosage is indicative and for favorable clinical evolution, however, the acting veterinarian should evaluate in each case.
