Description

Dexalone Suspension provides treatment of inflammatory, primary ketosis, osteo-articular inflammatory states allergic or shock states in equine horses, cattle and goats

Complementary Target Species:
Horses, cattle, goats, pigs, dogs and cats.
Indications for use, specifying the target species
In cattle, goats, horses, pigs, dogs and cats:
– Treatment of inflammatory, allergic or shock states.
In cattle and goats:
– Treatment of primary ketosis (acetonemia, pregnancy toxemia).
In cattle:
– Induction of parturition.
In equines:
– Treatment of osteo-articular inflammatory states. Daxalone Solution

Route of administration complement

Intramuscular route.
Dosage

All targets:
Intramuscular route.
Horses, cattle, goats, pigs.
Dosage (in mg dexamethasone/kg): 0.018 to 0.036 mg/kg (1 to 2 mL/100 kg).
Dogs, cats
Dosage (in mg dexamethasone/kg): 0.09 mg/kg (0.5 mL/10 kg).

Farrowing induction:
Cows: 20 mg (11 mL).

– Excipients:
Sodium methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E219) ….. 1.0 mg
